Debate in the French as a Second Language classroom: from oral expression to the development of interaction skills

Abstract

The article analyses, in an interactionist perspective of the second language learning, the oral language productions issued from the realisation of a debate as a school activity in a classroom of French as a second language. Its aim is to appreciate how an integrated teaching of oral can contribute
to the development of oral interaction competence of learners.
