The aesthetics of color formationin the poem "Read Your Book" by Mufdi Zakaria

Abstract

The color image is of great importance in the formation of the poetic image and in the embodiment and clarification of the meaning, and contributes greatly to influencing the recipient.
The color also has the ability to reveal the personality of the human being because each color of the
colors relates to certain concepts and has special connotations, through the word the chromatic
connotation is formulated. The poet Mufdi Zakaria employed color clearly in his poem “Read Your
Book”, where he clearly employed green and red, and green, while the rest of the colors were used
to varying degrees. The poet focused in his poem on color, because the success of expression in the
poetic image Depends on the poet's mastery in choosing his color tools, and making better use of
them.
