Abstract

The burnout is one of the most important factors affecting the psychological and physical safety of individuals in the professional environment, as it is a final outcome of
the state of chronic occupational stress. This phenomenon is described as a state of feeling exhausted, feeling exhausted and emotionally drained. This is what hinders the
working individual from performing his full role, and contributes to his feeling of
inability to provide the work required of him at the level expected by others. Although burnout is included in the list of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases by
the World Health Organization, it is still a phenomenon that is not understood by many. In this article, we will discuss the clarification of the concept of burnout and the
search for its causes, manifestations, and its relationship to other phenomena and methods
necessary to put an end to it, or reduce its danger and negative effects.
