يعد تصنيف الجامعات العالمية من الأدوات التي يعتمد عليها الطلاب، الأكاديميين، والحكومات، لتقييم أداء الجامعات وجودة التعليم الذي تقدمه. تسهم هذه التصنيفات في تقديم صورة شاملة للجامعات، وتُعتبر مرجعًا قياسيًا يساعد في تحديد الجامعات الرائدة في مختلف المجالات الأكاديمية. إن دور خلية ضمان الجودة في تصنيف الجامعات على المستوى العالمي لا يقتصر على مراقبة وتحسين جودة التعليم، بل يشمل أيضًا تعزيز السمعة الأكاديمية للجامعة من خلال تحسين الأداء في مختلف المجالات الأكاديمية والإدارية. Abstract: Classification of global universities is one of the tools that students, academics, and governments rely on to asses universities' performance and the quality of their education. These rankings contribute to providing a comprehensive picture of universities, and are a standard reference that helps identify leading universities in various academic fields. The role of the Quality Assurance Cell in classifying universities at the global level is not only to monitor and improve the quality of education, but also to enhance the university's academic reputation by improving performance in various academic and administrative fields
