Abstract

In this article, we discussed the characteristics of rhythm in the proverbs of Abi AlAtahiah. We started with rhythm as it represents the major thesis in this article. It is a sticky concept that is difficult to define. Moreover, the matter made it more difficult to link it to a marginal poetic genre, which is the barrier. This is the kind that was hated by
the tastes of its receptors, because it rebelled against a typical poem that resembles its Bedouin environment. We have focused on the role of the presentation approach rhythmically, to try other horizons, including the rhythm of the judgmental sentences, and
we explored the role of the badi 'in loading the rhythm with a word and meaning, by adopting contradiction and alliteration. Besides, we noticed that the rougouza has a rhythm similar to its contrasting environment from the Arab civilization.
